Stella Kasseri - 1 pound chunk

An American variation on the Greek favorite, Stella Kasseri is a piquant and salty table cheese. Traditional Kasseri from Greece is made from cow's milk, while Stella Kasseri is made from cow's milk, for the American palate. Stella Kasseri may also be used as a grating cheese. If traditional Greek-type Kasseri is desired, Caputo's offers Cacio di Roma, which is strikingly similar to cow's milk Kasseri.
